Amanda Brooks Coasters - Banksia & Wrens

Amanda Brooks’ unique artwork reflects the contemporary, relaxed and colour-filled lifestyle of Queensland’s stunning Sunshine Coast and Noosa Heads.

Working on large canvases, Amanda creates vibrant, textured paintings using a rich combination of acrylics, ink washes and oils. Each piece is built up in layer upon layer of colour and texture, inspired by her deep love of nature and the coastal environment. Her work captures light and form in a truly breathtaking way.

Amanda’s dedication to observing the natural world is evident in her textured landscapes, bold florals and striking native birds and animals. As she beautifully expresses, “When one is in touch with nature, no season passes unnoticed.”

Coming from a family of creatives, Amanda began her career as a graphic designer before moving into teaching painting. This background brings a rare discipline and lifelikeness to her work, with exceptional attention to detail, strong composition, and a refined eye for colour. Her distinctive style and layered techniques have made her work highly sought after and represented in private collections across South-East Asia, Europe, the United States and Australia.

Now painting full time, Amanda is a successfully published artist who also collaborates with leading homeware companies. Her artwork is especially popular with renovators, interior decorators and designers, and she happily personalises and customises paintings to suit individual tastes.

It is the warmth and life her paintings bring to homes that continues to draw people to her work — creating pieces that not only decorate a space, but uplift it.
